MY BABY-SHOWER PARTY WITH ALICE IN WONDERLAND THEME

What a wonderful surprise it was when we arrived to our friend's house for a barbecue party with my sister who is also pregnant for her second child. We had no idea that there was a beautiful baby-shower party organized for us inside. We choose the path to our friend's house that went from the other side so that we missed the mysterious signs leading to her house and giving some hints of the theme of the party - Alice in wonderland. We saw only one big sign in front of the house at the porch before entering to the silent house. Then, SURPRISE our friends, mother and cousin appeared from the kitchen and the living room was full of life. It was a baby-shower party for us and our soon to be born babies. We where totally surprised about this wonderful party that had also a lovely tea-party theme.

They had decorated the house so well, can you notice playing-cards hanging on a clothesline and Alice in wonderland signs? 


A table full of delicacies and gifts . We also had to put cloth diapers on the dolls and to made performances of children's fairy tales and then guess what story it was about. Everyone also guessed the future names of our babies and we have them in envelopes to see after the name is given to our babies. This beautiful party was organized for us at the beginning of the June. I am really starting to get excited as our baby should be born in any day now..

SUNNY DAYS AND YOGA AT CANARY ISLANDS PART II

                        Hola a todos! This is the second part of our holidays in Canary Islands. Again I will let the pictures speak their language. It was just amazing to be able to escape the winter in Finland to these beautiful islands for 5 weeks full of sunshine and warmth. I loved to practice yoga by the swimming-pool of our bungalow.    Parivrtta Trikonasana  My favorite part of the breakfast was freshly squeezed orange juice  We stayed one week in these bungalows behind me. It was wonderful to have a little garden of our own and the swimming-pool in our use.  Hugging trees at Puerto Rico, we went there to spend a day at the beach. Me and our baby at the dunes - she had her nap in her Manduca baby carrier while I had a nice walk along the shore.   It seemed as we were in Sahara desert at the dunes. SUNNY DAYS AND YOGA AT CANARY ISLANDS PART I

Saludos desde las Islas Canarias! Greetings to everyone from the Canary Islands! In this post I let the pictures speak for themselves. It has been wonderful to escape the winter in Finland to these beautiful islands with my family. First we stayed in Las Palmas, close to the Playa de las Canteras. The North end of the beach Playa de las Canteras was for surfers. There was nice, relaxed athmosphere at that end of the beach and some cool restaurants to have some tapas and coffee.  The weather there was a bit cloudy during few days of our one week stay in Las Palmas.   So we went to Maspalomas beach at the south of the island and the weather there was so warm and sunny. It felt great to do my yoga practice at the beach. One day we went to see the old town of Las Palmas.
