I started to feel really tired towards the end of the Nowember while I felt that I ate too much greasy and sweet food. I felt that even a cup of coffee didn't help and although I was still taking my green smoothie almost every morning it was not giving me the energy boost it usually does. Then I got Sarah Cadji's book Pure:Juicing for life as a gift from my man and there was the answer - juicing veggies. I got really excited after glancing the book. I have been juicing before but somehow I was more enthusiastic about smoothies than juicing. Maybe because it is so difficult to wash the juicer as it consists from so many parts and I also didn't know many juice recipes before. I went to the supermarket to buy some vegetables and fruits and the next day I started with green breakfast juice. I could feel the difference immediately, it worked better than a double espresso, I felt that I was full of energy, I was awake and ready for the day ahead.       ...

NAME PARTY OF OUR LITTLE PRINCESS

It was a beautiful Saturday in October, it was full of sunshine and light, roses and smiles, laughter, hugs, and love, it was our little baby's name party - a really special day for her and her parents. Usually she always sleeps in the car but when we where driving to the party venue that morning she was wide awake and for me it seemed that she was excited about the party ahead. I had told her earlier that morning that it is going to be her name party today.💕 Our little princess in her name party, she was so sweet and happy to see all the guests who arrived. Sparkling welcome drinks. Gift table and a beautiful painting among her gifts   The menu included sweet potato-carrot soup, mushroom pie and bagels. It was a beautiful sunny day and the party venue was bathing in that light. Our baby received so many beautiful cards and wishes, angels and blessings. One of the best ways to relax and ground yourself? There is nothing more grounding, calming and relaxing to me than a long walk along  the nature..Few days ago we went to Nuuksio national park that is about half an hour drive from our home and I could finally have my nature-walk. There is nothing like this blissful connection with The Mother Earth and yourself. Nuuksio National Park It really is a blessing to have this large, green national park so close to our home. When I step into the woods all my senses starts to wake up differently. I hear the birds singing, I smell the green grass and the plants and trees around me, I see clearly all the amazing autumn colors around me and I feel, I feel the moment! Nothing else is important  anymore. The chatter of the mind fades away, the big important thing you just thought about ceases to be so important or urgent or whatever it was just a moment ago.               ...

Prenatal Yin Yoga Sequence

Yin Yoga stimulates the meridian lines of the body and this is very beneficial for both baby and mother. They influence every organ and physiological system in the body . They carry energy throughout the body, this energy is often referred to as chi,qi or prana. This following Yin flow is attempting to stimulate all the meridian lines of the body. You should remember that during the pregnancy   hormone relaxin is causing the ligaments to soften and stretch. With the ligaments already softening it is easier to damage them. So now is not the time to try to go deeper in the practice. It is good idea to go only as far in the poses now as open you were before becoming pregnant. You can hold Yin asanas several minutes, when you are pregnant adjust the holding times according how the pose feels for you.    You can start with a short meditation while you are deepening the breath. Healthy breakfast during the pregnancy - what to have?

Below is some examples of what I had as a breakfast during my pregnancy. I think that good nutrition and paying attention to what I ate really gave me much more energy to go and teach my yoga classes and to stay active until almost the end of my pregnancy as I was still teaching my classes when eight months pregnant. Every day starts with a breakfast so it is important to start a day eating as well as possible.  Of course if you are having nausea - I had at the beginning of my pregnancy and that was the time when I was traveling in southern India- it is just important to try to be able to eat something and to stay well hydrated. For me eating pretzels and drinking fruit juices while still in bed worked best for nausea and also cereals with milk felt good as a breakfast after getting up. It is important to follow your intuition about what feels good for you in the moment of having nausea.Sometimes it is a sign that you really need to just rest more and relax. Below is some he...

OUR BABY IS HERE

Our baby was born 15.8 and is now one month old. That is of course the reason why I haven't been posting anything for a while. I am happy to tell you that she is healthy and happy little baby who likes to smile a lot. This has been the biggest change I have ever experienced in my life and every day is full of little miracles and new things to learn about my baby and myself. There is no words to describe what motherhood has felt like, but surely it includes a full scale of feelings and sentiments, some of them, I had no idea that even existed before. However, pure happiness and love is on top every time I even look at our little baby.
